Skogman Realty Raises $26,000 for the Veteran’s Liberty Center

Skogman Realty Raises $26,000 at the Sixth Annual Charity Golf Outing benefiting the Veteran’s Liberty Center.

The tally is in! Skogman Realty presented the $26,000 check to Gerry Peters on behalf of the Veteran’s Liberty Center on Tuesday, October 16. This year, Skogman Realty chose to benefit the Veteran’s Liberty Center which is a local nonprofit organization established to meet the needs of active duty military personnel and veterans discharged under honorable conditions. According to Peters, the donation will help their organization operate for 7 months.

On September 20, 140 golfers with 35 teams played 18 holes of golf at Saddleback Ridge Golf Course, raising funds for our local veterans.

The goal of the Skogman Golf Outing is to raise money and awareness for smaller, local non-profits where we can make the biggest impact.  Over the last 6 years, this event has raised over $125,000 for local non-profit organizations and helped them to be more visible in our community.  As a result, some of these organizations have gone on to receive new opportunities for sponsorships and donations.
